Leelanau Wine Cellars, Ltd. (“Leelanau Cellars”) owns, operates and maintains lwc.wine (hereafter the “Website”). As a part your Website experience, certain information is collected so we can improve our selection of products and maintain outstanding customer service. Personally Identifiable Information
While using the Website you may voluntarily provide us with personally identifiable information. This information can be used to personally identity you. Such information may include your name, title, company, address, phone number, e-mail address or payment information. Leelanau Cellars only collects personally identifiable information when it is submitted voluntarily by a user. Examples of these instances include:
Shop Transactions
All transactions through the Website shop, including Wine Club, will ask for your name, address, contact information and date of birth. This information is necessary for fulfillment of your order and to contact you regarding your order. To complete a transaction, you will need to provide a valid payment method (e.g., credit card or PayPal account). Your payment information will be collected and processed by our authorized payment vendors. We do not directly collect or store credit or debit card numbers in the ordinary course of processing transactions. Leelanau Cellars will only see and maintain a record of the type of card used and the last four digits of the credit card number. If a transaction is made through a third-party platform (i.e. in-app purchase), the payment method is stored and charged by the third-party platform. The credit card information provided is sent to a third party for processing the payment.
Shop Account
Website users have the opportunity to create an account to use for the Shop or if they have joined the Leelanau Cellars Wine Club. When creating an account we will ask for your name, address, contact information and an account password. This information is used for a quicker checkout experience in the Shop and for processing and fulfilling Wine Club orders.
Account Content
Account holders may participate in the Website community features allowing for user-generated content to be posted on the Website. Your account profile may display the information submitted about yourself and your activities. User-generated content may also include any reviews or submissions posted in the community areas of the Website. You are responsible for any content submitted to the Website community. Any information and associated metadata (e.g., titles, descriptions, tags, etc.) you make available as a participant in an online community or submit for posting to the Website may be made available for others to see.
Website Forms
Several pages of the Website have forms allowing a user to contact Leelanau Cellars. These forms generally request your name, phone number, e-mail address, other contact information or any additional information a user wishes to provide. We use these submission forms to receive comments/questions from users, applications for employment, inquiries for production services or requests for charitable contributions.
Reservations
A reservation system may be available to reserve a dedicated spot in our Tasting Room. As a part of the reservation we collect your name, party size, phone number and e-mail address.
Mailing List
When you sign-up for our mailing list we collect your name and e-mail address. This information is used to place you on our mail list to receive news, information or special offers from Leelanau Cellars.

Anonymous information is any information that is collected from the Website that cannot be used to personally identify a user.
